Living Waters for the World (LWW)
CCPC is a strong supporter of Living Waters for the World, a program of the Synod of Living Waters, Presbyterian Church (USA), which trains and equips mission teams to share the gift of clean water with communities in need. Between 2010 and 2019, CCPC mission teams successfully installed eleven water purification systems in Honduras delivering the blessing of clean water to thousands of Hondurans in the villages where they live. An important part of these trips was health education for both adults and children on sanitation and the benefits of using clean water appropriately. CCPC mission teams worked alongside Honduran operating partners to not only install the water purification systems but also to provide training how operate and maintain the newly installed systems. At the end of each installation, a grand celebration was held as the team turned over ownership of the system to the community. But those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.” John 4:14 |
