Bless Your Heart: A Study of the Beatitudes (Mary Brock via Zoom)
A look at the aspirations, inspirations, and trepidations of those
to whom Matthew addressed his gospel.
Warning, it is not for the faint of heart.
Chapter 4 of Matthew: how Jesus's temptations in the Judaean desert were
those of the Jewish nation - - and how the Beatitudes are Jesus's mountaintop
announcement of what the heart and soul of God's Kingdom really is as he goes
after the kingdoms of this world.
This Sunday we wrap up our study on the Beatitudes with Servant Power. They
really are God's mission strategy for us as He takes back the world and transforms
it into His Kingdom.
