Christian Education
Christian Community Presbyterian Church offers a wonderful educational Sunday School Program. Sunday School is 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. We offer Education classes for both Children and Adults .
Christian Education Hour On Sunday
- Children's Sermon
- is delivered by members of the congregation to young children at each worship service.
- Sunday School
- Cradle Roll - 6 months to 3 years of age
- 3 year olds to 6th grade
- 7th and 8th grades
- 9th to 12th grade
- Adult Education
- a variety of classes offered every Spring, Fall and Winter.
- Foundations for Church Membership
- is a class offered twice a year as part of the Adult Education curriculum. Participants learn about the history, form and functioning of the Presbyterian denomination, as well as CCPC.
- Community Forums/Speakers
- a variety of subjects and speakers are offered year round
Nursery Schools/ Pre-School
Children's Ministry
Christian Community Presbyterian Church offers a variety of activities to meet the needs of the children, aged 3 through fifth grade, as well as their parents. We offer a program that helps kids explore life’s issues and apply them to Bible truths while having fun in fellowship.
- Sunday School :
- 9:45 – 10:00 Sunday School music
- 10:00 – 10:45 Sunday School, Group Publishing Curriculum
- Vacation Bible School : A vital program offered during the summer, consisting of a fun-filled week of dinner, lessons, activities and crafts.
- Mission: We join various organizations to stock the Community Food Pantry (located on site), we purchase school supplies for our Christmas Families, and we purchase needed items for the children who visit us during our Warm Nights program.
- Kids Club: A monthly get-together with the children and their parents.
- Halloween Party: An afternoon filled with fun and games including “trunk-or-treat.” <View pictures for 2004>
- Christmas Crafts: We spend a morning decorating cookies, making gingerbread houses along with simple crafts.
- Christmas Pageant: We team with the youth to provide a simple message.
- Signs of Spring Hike: We hike to see where we can find spring, followed by a fire with hot dogs and s’mores.
