Liz Mak: 
  • Community Crisis Services Inc. is thrilled to welcome our first speaker for this year's P.S. There is Hope event, Liz Mak
  • Liz is a survivor of sexual trafficking who will be talking about the struggles she faced as a young woman, and the steps she's taken to rebuild her life.
Brian Cutter: 
  • Community Crisis Services Inc. is excited to announce that Brian Cutter has joined our line up for the upcoming P.S. There is Hope Event scheduled for Thursday, May 16th.
  • Brian is an veteran who will be discussing his challenges with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and accompanying depression/anxiety.
Anne Berry: 
  • As the Vice President of On Our Own in Prince George's County, Ms. Berry has been a victim of domestic violence and assault, including the recent arson of On Our Own's previous building in College Park by her now ex-boyfriend.
Anita Brown: 
  • Community Crisis Services Inc. is proud to welcome Anita Brown as a panelist for our upcoming P.S. There is Hope event on Thursday, May 16th.
  • Ms. Brown is a retired woman who is in the process of emerging from her male past. She will talk about the challenges of transitioning at a later stage in life, the struggles she's faced and the community she's found through University Christian Church of Hyattsville.
