WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY
This Sunday, CCPC will celebrate, along with other Christians around the world, Worldwide Communion Sunday. Audrey Scott will deliver the Children's Sermon utilizing a large world map and noting the people from this congregation and community who are serving Christ around the world. The sermon from Philippians 3:4-14 is titled “With Modesty and Conviction,” and deals with the process of spiritual maturity. The Apostle Paul says maturity is not having arrived at a point when you have fully mastered your faith, it is rather a continual “pressing on” towards the goal. The Old Testament reading is the Ten Commandments. Join us for spiritual worship and the observance of the Lord's Supper.8:30 am - 12:00 noon Nursery Care

This is the second week of the series, “Sharing Your Faith Made Easy.” In the first week the class shared their experiences of being (and not being) evangelized. This week we will start talking about the content of the gospel and the process by which people come to faith. The homework question comes from Brian McLaren, author of “A New Kind of Christian.” If an alien from another planet jumped into your path and asked you two questions: What is Christianity? and What do Christians believe? Talk about how you might respond to these inquiries. Come and join us as we discuss these important questions. All are welcome - if you missed last week, just come on and join in with us this Sunday!
