The Christmas Market is coming to CCPC on November 6 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Give a Gift that Cares - your gift donation to Hospice of the Chesapeake in the name of someone in your family, a friend, or a coworker will help improve the quality of life for a stranger experiencing advanced illness or bereavement. Hospice of the Chesapeake helps provide the best care possible to patients with life-limiting illness. It offers support to families and care givers. The Spiritual & Bereavement Care Center has experienced spiritual staff to counsel and support during the grieving process. Special programs assist families involving children. There is care for everyone regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Hundreds of volunteers assist the paid staff.
Put Market Day on your calendar. Also enjoy a cup of soup at the soup booth.
There will be various opportunities to purchase meaningful Christmas gifts, from the Medical Benevolence Fund, to the Heifer Project, Habitat for Humanity, and the youth and Children's Ministry are sponsoring children from other countries. There is also a Blanket Ministry led by the Mission Committee. You can get a complete lunch, from beverage to dessert, as you purchase your gifts. Call Peggy Oates for more information.

Special Thanksgiving class w/Laurel Cox
"Thanksgiving, more than a speed bump on the way to Christmas" Thanksgiving is more than a meal - it should be a season and a way of life. In a left brain/right brain manner, this class will help us to focus on who, and what, we should be thankful for - and why. Many classes stir our intellect; this one is designed to focus our attention in practical and creative ways as we look at our reasons to be thankful. So join us, as together we "give thanks".
11 am Worship Service - Holiday Choir
3 pm Hanging of the Greens
Save the date - November 27th @ 3 pm for the Hanging of the Greens at CCPC!! Bring your Thanksgiving leftovers and join us for some good potluck fun and frolic as we turn our church and hall into a wonderfully green Christmas memory.
What is an EVENING AT CCPC?
Friday December 2
Saturday December 3
It's entertainment. It's an excuse to get dressed up. It's comedy. It's singing. It's dancing. It's magic. It's an old time variety show. It's a chance to shine without a huge time commitment. It's fantastic food served on a platter. It's a benefit for Christmas Families. It's an opportunity for adults to get in on some of the fun the kids have had performing.
