CCPC General Page Template
Each page will have unique content related to the topic. There will be text and pictures.
Special links to related pages will be added in-line or in the sidebar to the right.
The template is fixed width of 1000 pixels. It might be tailored a few pixels smaller after it is tested on several browsers. It will display on an XGA 1024 x 768 monitor with no horizontal scrolling required. This standard display has been around since 1990 and is still dominant on moderate and low priced monitors.
The center column is wide enough to display a 640x480 picture without overlapping the sidebars. There might have to be some more margin adjustments to allow the 640x480 pictures.
The background colors were selected to match with the current website colors so the pages will not be too much of a change
Center Column and Right Sidebar
The Center Column and Right Sidebar are editable in Contribute.
The right sidebar will have special content tailored for each specific page.
While the format is being changed and new pages are being added, not all the links in the navigation column are active.
Header, Footer, Left Sidebar
The left sidebar is the general navigation guide. It will be the same throughout the website, with a few exceptions such as the Caller.
The Header, Footer, and Left Sidebar are part of a template. They are only editable in an HTML editor or in Dreamweaver.
Search CCPC
The Google Search box was added to the CCPC page. The results from Google are much superior to the previous search link used. The search box is editable in Dreamweaver and displays correctly in Firefox and Internet Explorer. There are serious format problems with the search box formatting when editing pages in Contribute. These formatting problems need to be resolved.
